Yes! The 2.5 DI-D is reliable, and thanks to its poor resale value, you can get a great bakkie for little money.

It’s not a pretty vehicle, but if you’re a practical person like me, you’ll look beyond its odd appearance and see a practical and capable rig – and that’s most important consideration in my opinion.

My Triton’s weak point may be is its looks, but I must confess I’ve gotten so used to it that I don’t even find it ugly anymore. Its best trait? It’s ugly enough that nobody will want steal it!

It’s not just another boring white Hilux. It’s something different, and therefore it is special to me.
