Some gravel roads are wide and graded, and you can put foot like you’d do on a highway.

If a vehicle approaches from the front, it’s good manners to slow down and keep as far to the left as possible so you don’t roost the oncoming vehicle with stones. Nobody likes a cracked windscreen and everyone benefits when you leave a good impression with the locals.
