CUSTOM LEISURE TECH DROP-IN CAMPER

Another model from Custom Leisure Tech, the Drop-In Camper came about after the company started getting requests from customers to build custom campers. Now, this range of camper is a one-size-fitsall design for all bakkies, but there’s also one specially designed to fit on the Toyota Land Cruiser 79 pick-up – both the single and doublecab models.

The entire unit can be lifted on and off your bakkie again just like any other canopy, but to aid in this exercise, there’s also lifting legs at each corner so you can drive your bakkie underneath them. You then simply fasten the bolts to secure the camper and away you go. You access the camper from the rear and from the side, while you get into the hardshell roof tent from a ladder on the outside. On request, you can opt for access to the tent from the inside of the canopy as well as for the front of tent to pop up as well instead of just the rear.

Other optional extras include drawer systems, carpeting, side awnings, fridge/freezers and fully equipped kitchens, LEDs and 12 and 240 V power points, as well as water tanks.
