Out of sight, out of mind

For a long time in the campsite, I’ve struggled with fishing rods getting in the way or blow over in the wind. You also often look for a hiking pole or a broom that isn’t where it should be. So, I made a special shelf. I drilled two round holes in a plank and fitted two strong magnets inside the holes. Then, I screwed a piece of plastic trunking, 1,5 cm wide, to the plank. An old sponge with holes nicely lined the inside of the trunking. After this, I cut the holes in the sponge with an angle grinder. Now, for example, I can attach the shelf against the bodywork of a trailer or my vehicle… and nobody has to look for anything anymore.
