Right across the road from Muisbosskerm outside Lamberts Bay, you can pitch your tent on one of 75 sites. Some lie between windbreaking trees, but most are on an open piece of lawn. Each stand has a power point (bring a caravan adaptor), tap, and braai drum. 083 370 0400 or malkoppanFarm@gmail.com

In the park’s coastal area, between the Groenrivier and Spoegrivier mouths, there are 11 campsites next to the sea. Each one has a number of stands that cater to groups of different sizes. You’ll find them in Hondeklip Bay’s main street. Each of the six stands has a cement sheet that’s large enough for a four-man tent, picnic table, braai, tap, and power point. Furthermore, there’s a small swimming pool, communal boma, and six outdoor showers (in addition to the ablution facilities) for washing off the sea salt.
