Fancy a frog’s leg?

-

Frogs are high on the list of favourite dishes for a black bass. So, if you’re thinking about imitating a frog using a realistic lure, you’re on the right path. That’s exactly what Livetarget did with its Freestyle Frog bait. This frog bait looks just like the real deal, which means the chances of attracting a bass are great. It’s a soft bait, so you thread a loose hook through the bait. You can cast it pretty far. The bait has two translucent tails that point to the back like two legs. As you reel it in, it almost looks as though these legs are kicking by themselves. Because it’s transparent, the fish sees the body of the bait, and there you have it. When you allow the bait to swim on top of the water, the two tails create a splash, which also attracts attention. Like other baits used to lure fish to the surface, this one works best in the early morning or late afternoon. You can also lower the tip of your fishing rod so the bait swims a little under the water. The bait is 75 mm long and available in six colours. You get it in a set of two. Price R200 per set. Contact Available in angling stores nationwide – also in Namibia. catches@4adrenalin.co.za adrenalinfishing.co.za
