Place a paper filter in a holder, screw the holder to the bottom of the sylinder, scoop ground beans into the sylinder followed by boiling water. Place it on top of a coffee cup, insert the piston at the top of the cylinder and push the piston down so that you force the boiling water through the coffee grinds and paper filter straight into your cup.
