This ancient kettle is also known as an ibrik. You scoop in finely ground coffee beans – as fine as possible – add a little water and put the kettle on the coals. As soon as the coffee boils and threatens to bubble over, remove it from the heat and pour all of it into a coffee cup. The coffee is strong and quite muddy.
