The best place to dis­play your li­cence disc is the rear win­dow of your car­a­van (fig­ure 1). If yours doesn’t have a rear win­dow, any other win­dow will do – as long as it’s clearly vis­i­ble for traf­fic of­fi­cials. For a trailer, you must have a round li­cence disc holder mounted on the A-frame (fig­ure 2). An in­for­ma­tion plate with the trailer’s cer­ti­fied gross ve­hi­cle mass (GVM) and gross axle mass (GA) must be dis­played – usu­ally also on the A-frame. When your trailer’s li­cence ex­pires, you can still tow it legally for 21 days be­fore you’ll have to get a new one. >
