Murphy will see to it that your car breaks down after sunset and you’re going to have a hard time fixing things in the dark without a decent torch. You’ll even need a little extra light in broad daylight when looking for the source of that banging sound from the chassis.

Take along extra batteries or consider buying a wind-up torch.
