The Namib is an everchangi­ng dune landscape – unspoilt, vast and mesmerizin­g. It might seem like an inhospitab­le place, but look carefully you’ll find animals and plants completely adapted to the environmen­t. You’ll also discover remnants of the desert’s rich diamond mining history, as well as haunting shipwrecks. Out there, it’s you and your 4x4 surrounded by a sea of sand. It’s easy to imagine you’re the only person on this planet.

Faces of the Namib

Join us on this six-night tour and discover the many faces of the Namib region, while testing your dune-driving skills among the world’s highest sand dunes. You will be part of a convoy making your way up and down the dune landscape.

The tour starts in Solitaire. We’ll first travel in a westerly direction through the Kuiseb Canyon, then on to Conception Bay across the iconic sand dunes.
