The Namib is an everchanging dune landscape – unspoilt, vast and mesmerizing. It might seem like an inhospitable place, but look carefully you’ll find animals and plants completely adapted to the environment. You’ll also discover remnants of the desert’s rich diamond mining history, as well as haunting shipwrecks. Out there, it’s you and your 4x4 surrounded by a sea of sand. Faces of the Namib
Join us on this six-night tour and discover the many faces of the Namib region, while testing your dune-driving skills among the world’s highest sand dunes. You will be part of a convoy making your way up and down the dune landscape.
The tour starts in Solitaire. We’ll first travel in a westerly direction through the Kuiseb Canyon, then on to Conception Bay across the iconic sand dunes.
