Sundale helps fire victims
Sundale Dairy donated Yo-Mageu products to victims of a fire that destroyed 20 shacks recently in Nompumelelo township, in Beacon Bay.
According to CEO, Pierre van Rensburg, Sundale has a relationship with Ripples for Change, an NPO that supports Early Childhood Development (ECD) centres in rural communities and through this association they have been supporting communities in and around the city.
“When we heard about the fires, we were more than happy to help. We are well aware of the dire circumstances facing our communities and are committed to pushing forward to achieve substantial growth that will change the lives of those most in need,” said Van Rensburg.
Nompumelelo ward councillor Makhaya Bopi said they welcomed donations.
“We are thankful to all those who have donated. We welcome any kind of donation because the people are in need as some are now busy rebuilding their shacks. I’ve also appealed to businesses in the surrounding areas; we need all the help we can get.”
