- MATTHEW FIELD

The first round of online registrations for Walter Sisulu University officially opened on Tuesday, with returning students and first-time students who completed matric before 2021 having until February 4 to apply.

Students who graduated in 2021 will be able to register between January 24 and January 28, after the release of the official matric results.

Any applicants looking to amend their registration details, such as dropping or changing any subjects, can do so between February 7 and 25.

“Our online registration portal is user-friendly and easy to navigate. It can also be accessed via cellphone, tablet and laptop and will not consume a lot of data.

“In addition to this, all new students will receive a tablet or laptop to assist them with their educational needs during their time of study at WSU,” vicechancellor Prof Rushiella Songca said.

“We urge all students and parents to utilise the online registration to avoid gathering on campuses. This will save them both time and money.
