May 4: The Gonubie Lions’ Club charity craft market in aid of the Furry Godmother who takes care of many helpless stray, neglected and abused animals within the impoverish­ed communitie­s of East London will be held at King’s Mall from 9am to 1pm, where a super variety of delicious home baked eats, interestin­g home made items that will make lovely gifts, beautiful clothing, themed beanies, children’s toys, craftwork and delicious freshly baked pancakes can be found. All items are made with much love by local residents and very reasonably priced.

May 27, from 10am-11am at 44 Smartt Road, Nahoon is a space where wheelchair users and their family can be together to enjoy some dancing, fun and fellowship. We meet every fourth Saturday of the month in St Michael’s Church hall. All wheelchair users and their family and friends are most welcome to join in.
