Here, chick-chick!

We love your magazine, and even though we live in Pretoria we consider ourselves semi-plattelanders. I keep Nguni cattle and my daughter Katryn has kept chickens since she was a little girl. After seeing the chicken-coop project in Platteland # 1, I built Katryn a proper coop (above) for her few Potch koekoeks. She now has her own small free-range business and sells the eggs at R2,50 each to our neighbour and others. She loves it!
