Hydn Holmes

Hydn lived in Port Elizabeth and Dubai before he and his wife, Maria, settled here in 2013. They manage Liquid Lines, a company that offers swimming and aqua fitness classes. Their business attracts clients from all over the district who keep them going all year long. He loves the waves, isolation and peace – and that people care about each other. “When you hear an alarm going off, you investigate why. We don’t just ignore it the way people do in the city.”
