Franzl Bause

Franzl is the principal of St Francis College, a small private school outside town that accommodates learners up to Grade 7. The school is situated on farmland and its success is thanks to the involvement of the community. “The excellent teachers could earn much more money elsewhere in the country,” says Franzl, “but they prefer to live and work in this spectacular environment.”
