Andrea Hattingh, Rona Rabe and Monica Smit
The three sisters have spent holidays in Oyster Bay since they were children. Monica, who has lived here permanently since 2010, manages the café and Nautilus Pub. Andrea and Rona visit whenever they can. Monica also owns Oyster Bay Garden Services. “You should know what you’re letting yourself in for when you come to live here. You’re far away from everything. If there is a medical emergency, for instance, either your neighbour or an ambulance has to speed along the gravel road. But it is such a beautiful place, so quiet and safe. And the sunsets over the water are unbelievably beautiful.”
