The chaff that re­mains be­hind in the fields is later gath­ered into bales and stored for use as cat­tle feed through­out the year. The bales vary in size and shape, but these gi­gan­tic round ones can weigh up to 300kg each, re­quir­ing huge ma­chines for trans­port from the fields to the ware­house. >
