Richtersveld World Heritage Site. It costs R50 per person per day for a permit to drive in the heritage site, plus R50 per person per day to camp. Booking your stay can be difficult because the telephone numbers on their (outdated) website are no longer in service. Klein-pella. A big date farm west of Pella. They have great camping stands (R150 per person) with tidy ablutions. There’s also a guesthouse, restaurant and a swimming pool.
