Go! Wild Places

“The reserves along the Wild Coast are small, but they offer you the opportunity to see the landscape in its most pristine form. You can walk on the beach, explore a forest, swim in a river or the sea, or just put your feet up. You’ll never quite forget that civilisation is nearby, however, because you’ll probably run into a cow or two on the beach…

“You could stay in reserves for the duration of your Wild Coast holiday. My favourite is Hluleka. It’s small and can’t accommodate too many people at a time. The doublestorey chalets are modern and neat and offer great value for money. You can chill on the stoep and watch whales and zebras go by.”
