The miracle of rain

We visited the north of the Kruger last year November and experienced a lovely rain shower one night at Punda Maria. The next day there were small pools of water on the tar roads and animals were drinking happily, including many tortoises that drank with their front legs folded under them, almost as if they were saying a prayer of thanks.
