At Ruth62 (next to the R62) Lydia du Toit (pictured) bakes roosterkoek from Tuesday to Sunday. A roosterkoek with apricot jam and cheese costs R45; bacon and cheese R60. The Country Pumpkin (also next to the R62) has outside seating under umbrellas. There’s usually a breakfast special on the menu (R60), plus bobotie, lasagne and fish and chips (R95 – R110).
