DIY CEMENT VASES
Use leftover cement from building projects to upcycle old plastic bottles as moulds for vases
YOU'LL NEED: A craft knife, one large and one small plastic bottle (to create the hollow), cement mix, a jug or mixing bowl, sandpaper and paint.
HOW TO: SLICE tops off bottles. POUR cement into a mixing bowl or jug, then pour some into the larger bottle. Place the smaller bottle inside the bigger one and lift it before starting to pour so that you have a cement base. DRY for 24 hours. SLICE off bottle moulds to reveal vase. Use sandpaper to remove any jagged edges. PAINT with your favourite colours and fill with flowers.
