The kitchen work tri­an­gle refers to an imag­i­nary tri­an­gle where the stove, fridge and sink should be no less than 1,2m and no more than 2,7m apart. Ev­ery kitchen needs work sur­faces – try to have at least a few ar­eas 60cm wide for prep. Al­low for at least 40cm next to a cook­ing hob for plac­ing hot pots and in­gre­di­ents.
