BREAK­FAST: Fast­ing till noon ex­cept for cof­fee and 1 ℓ wa­ter LUNCH: ‘Green soup’ made from chicken broth, baby mar­rows and spinach/chicken spinach salad, cheese and mayo DIN­NER: Roast chicken/pork or steak with veg and/or salad SNACKS: Droë­wors, nuts, bil­tong, slice of Ched­dar and Bovril


Write it down. Keep a food di­ary un­til you be­come used to what you can eat in one day.

Keep track. Take mea­sure­ments and pho­to­graphs of your body. Re­peat ev­ery month and record the progress. Have a clothes goal. Try on a pair of jeans or an item in your wardrobe that is too small that you want to fit into.
