A day at the races

The Standard Bank Polo in the Park set a new standard for the modern-day version of the sport of kings

WITH ITS ‘NOMADIC COUTURE’ THEME, the inaugural Standard Bank

Polo in the Park was held at Steyn City Parkland Residence last November. It was the first-ever parkpolo game held in Africa, and its always-in-play style made for a day of non-stop action, featuring fashion shows and a luxury car showcase. Amanda du-pont hosted the event, attended by stars Kat Sinivasan, Seth Shezi, Thameenah Saint and Ayanda Thabethe, who dominated the blue carpet. Our favourite looks of the day were worn by singer Levuvu and actor Nicholas Nkuna.
