How Do You Create a Consistently Perfect Cognac?

REPEAT THE UNREPEATABLE

How do you create a consistently perfect cognac? For Hennessy, it’s a case of mastering the ever-changing elements through a legacy of savoir-faire that sees each generation’s Master Blender nurture the potential within every drop. This is the foundation and essence of the world’s bestselling cognac’s new V.S.O.P Privilège campaign. It captures the idea of enduring expertise and carefully curating every grape and note into one harmonious blend, over and over again. That’s how Hennessy repeats the unrepeatable.

The campaign reveals what an unbroken heritage of cognac creation looks like. It uncovers the mystery of it all by delving into the skilful navigation of the three key phases of production – cultivation, selection and blending – giving us a glimpse into the life of the eighthgeneration Hennessy Master Blender, Renaud Fillioux de Gironde, the man carrying the legacy of Hennessy forward. He’s a master using the knowledge of his forefathers to protect the significance of the brand and its values.

A vital component in Hennessy’s mission to ensure there’s constant perfection in every bottle is the Tasting Committee. Together with the Master Blender, the Committee meets at 11am every morning to taste and grade the eaux-de-vie. Once the eauxde-vie reach the point of perfection, they’re then blended by Fillioux de Gironde to achieve the levels of excellence that make it one of Hennessy’s most celebrated and sophisticated cognacs.

With this meticulous selection, Hennessy repeats a perfectly balanced cognac, even in the face of unpredictable elements such as terroir, weather and harvest.
