Game, set, Moët!
It was a cool day In cape town as one of the world’s most relaxed – and most accomplished – tennis players, Roger Federer, hit our shores ahead of The Match in Africa 6, which saw him square off against Rafael Nadal in a soldout exhibition match at Cape Town Stadium on 7 February. Proceeds from the event benefited the Federer Foundation, which supports education efforts in rural Africa. To mark the occasion of Federer’s first match in sub-saharan Africa (and his first in his mother’s home country!), Moët & Chandon held a sumptuous brunch at the Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel, attended by SA sporting legends Schalk Burger, Siya Kolisi, and Bryan Habana, and hosted by Maps Maponyane.
