On promoting africa through film ‘Many people know I believe in my culture, and I’ll do everything possible to use audiovisual to project, educate and preserve it. Films should entertain, but they can also educate and inform viewers. We learn so much about America, India, China and their cultures through films. I think the onus rests on every creative mind out there to sell their stories. It’s a way of saying, recognise the people of Africa, their talent and their originality.’
