6-a-side cricket success
Competitive gameplay kept spectators thoroughly entertained. GRAAFF-REINET — The Graaff-reinet Cricket Club hosted a 6-a-side tournament at the Botanics in Graaff-reinet on Saturday, February 10.
The tournament attracted teams from Somerset East and Nieubethesda, with another local team, the Standard Cricket Club, and the Murraysburg farmers also taking part.
The competition heated up quickly thanks to competitive gameplay and saw the host team win in the final match of the day.
Organiser Willie van Rensburg said, “We are tremendously pleased with how well the tournament went from start to finish and would like to thank Octofin for their generous sponsorship.
