Time for a braai
Slow Food Karoo and the Slow Food Chefs’ Alliance are planning to celebrate the greatest food export of the Karoo with an annual event that celebrates our wonderful Karoo lamb. The inaugural event will be held in Graaff-reinet on Saturday, 27 October, and will be known as the Great Karoo Lamb Braai. The group of like-minded chefs will each prepare and serve different cuts of Karoo lamb, from nose to tail, all cooked in the great outdoors and over flames or hot coals. Klub Libertas in Bourke Street will host the event. The event will run from midday until 16:00. For more information and bookings, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
