Slow Food Ka­roo and the Slow Food C­hefs’ Al­li­an­ce are plan­ning to ce­le­bra­te the gre­a­test food ex­port of the Ka­roo with an an­nu­al e­vent that ce­le­bra­tes our won­der­ful Ka­roo lamb. The inau­gu­ral e­vent will be held in Graaff-rei­net on Sa­tur­day, 27 Oc­to­ber, and will be kno­wn as the Gre­at Ka­roo Lamb Braai. The group of li­ke-min­ded c­hefs will each pre­pa­re and ser­ve dif­fe­rent cuts of Ka­roo lamb, from no­se to tail, all cook­ed in the gre­at out­doors and o­ver fla­mes or hot co­als.
