Golfers take a swing at Betterball competition
On Saturday afternoon, 13 October, the Graaff-reinet Golf Club hosted the Graaffreinet Primary School golf day.
The winners of the day's Betterball competition (on a count out) was the golfing duo of Clive Ludick and Deger Williams with 46 points.
Chris Koeberg and Willie Claassen claimed second place, also with 46 points, while Noel Taylor-freeme and Roelof Liebenberg came in third with 44 points.
The Club extends its thanks to the school and all the sponsors involved.
In other golf news, Wednesday's IPS competition was won by Jacques Wagener with 33 points, followed in second place by Vlam Pretorius with 29 points.
Friday's Sundowner was won by Johan Brink on a count out with 17 points, followed by David Luscombe in second place with 16 points.
On Saturday, 20 October, the club will host a Bogey competition.
