Le­arn to walk on stilts

Du­ring the GRT Rox fe­s­ti­val, which will be held in U­ma­si­zak­he from 14 to 16 De­cem­ber, a group of en­ter­tai­ners from Gau­teng would li­ke to te­ach so­me young pe­op­le an u­nu­su­al skill - that of stilt-wal­king.

They are look­ing for young­sters, pre­fe­ra­bly tho­se who are no lon­ger at school, who are in­te­rested in le­ar­ning so­mething qui­te dif­fe­rent. They will need to at­tend the works­hop on all three days, and not be sca­red of trying so­mething com­ple­te­ly new.

The stilt-wal­king group, Gau­teng Spe­ci­al Per­for­mers, are just one of the ma­ny groups of en­ter­tai­ners that will be per­for­ming at the fe­s­ti­val, to­get­her with well-kno­wn mu­si­ci­ans and co­me­di­ans.

The fe­s­ti­val will al­so in­vol­ve spor­ting e­vents, film scree­n­ings, and e­du­ca­ti­o­nal pro­mo­ti­ons.
