Graaff-rei­net SAPS ha­ve ur­ged mem­bers of the com­mu­ni­ty not to be temp­ted to buy any goods that they sus­pect may be sto­len.

T­his is an of­fen­ce, pu­nis­ha­ble by law.

T­ren­dy i­tems that so­mebo­dy flas­hes at you in the streets are al­ways sus­pect - ho­nest tra­de does not o­pe­ra­te in t­his way.

Pe­op­le are war­ned ne­ver buy ex­pen­si­ve brands of per­fu­me, clo­thing, CDS, DVDS or any luxu­ry i­tems at bar­gain pri­ces from de­a­lers with du­bi­ous cre­den­ti­als. The i­tems are bound to be fa­ke!

Anyo­ne who sus­pects a per­son is buying or sel­ling sto­len goods, it can be re­por­ted to the SAPS a­no­ny­mous­ly.
