SAPS warns against buying stolen goods
Graaff-reinet SAPS have urged members of the community not to be tempted to buy any goods that they suspect may be stolen.
This is an offence, punishable by law.
Trendy items that somebody flashes at you in the streets are always suspect - honest trade does not operate in this way.
People are warned never buy expensive brands of perfume, clothing, CDS, DVDS or any luxury items at bargain prices from dealers with dubious credentials. The items are bound to be fake!
Anyone who suspects a person is buying or selling stolen goods, it can be reported to the SAPS anonymously.
