CARS AND BAKKIES WANTED Stellar music line-up for festival

-

The organisers of this year’s GRT Rox festival have been very busy, and the programme for the three-day event in December has now been finalised.

There is a stellar musical line-up, and entertainers from assorted fields, ranging from stilt walkers to stand-up comedy will be at this homecoming celebration.

There will also be great action on the sporting front, with soccer, rugby and netball tournaments.

The event starts on Friday, 14 December, at 17:00 with the official opening in Sobukwe Street.

The rest of the events will be held at the sports stadium and tennis courts next to Nqweba Secondary School.

The cost is R150 for a three-day ticket and R60 per evening.

There will also be study information for those interested in higher education.

A music video for Roserro's song called Kasi to Kasi is going to be shot during the festival, which is definitely a marketing coup for Graaff-reinet!

There will also be a daily local TV production screening that will include local news, sports, and interviews with local people.

Organiser Khululekile Azul Banzi has asked that if there are any events such as ceremonies or traditional weddings that will be happening around the time of the event, the organisers should contact him on 073 282 6015 so that they can be considered for inclusion.
