Alleged drug dealers arrested
Two suspected drug dealers were arrested in Lotusville, Graaff-Reinet on 20 August, following a drug operation by the GraaffReinet Operational Command Centre.
According to Capt Bradley Rawlinson, spokesperson of the Graaff-Reinet SAPS, the operation against drugs took place in
Aberdeen, but led to information about two houses in Lotusville, where Mandrax tablets worth over R1 800 were found.
The two suspects, aged 45 and 19, were arrested on drug dealing charges. “Both cases are provincially withdrawn, as the court awaits lab results,” said Rawlinson.
