Town receives rain
Graaff-Reinet received some much-needed rain on Saturday 5 September.
In the Horseshoe area, Greg
Kappers reported 4 mm of rain was recorded on the day. In Bergendal, a reader told the Advertiser they had received around 6 mm of rain.
According to Edwardine Abader, acting spokesperson of the Dr Beyers Naudé Local
Municipality, the Nqweba Dam's level was 17,25% on Saturday.
No more rain is forecasted for the town this week.
