Has Heyneke Meyer done enough to keep his job after the World Cup? and went in search of answers.

I feel like he deserves to keep his job, because when you look at the Japan loss, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime result. No-one saw that coming. The Springboks have actually been impressive since that loss and it’s not like everyone else hasn’t lost. England are out in the first round. The All Blacks struggled to beat Georgia. The smaller teams are actually catching up to the big teams.

Rhodes student I think it will depend on the results that are coming ahead. I do think that everyone was questioning him after the Japan game. I don’t think his strategies are sustainable, because he’s not bringing in new players and he’s keeping a lot of the old guys like Victor Matfield. If we get to the final, then maybe he will keep his job.
