Mini budget ahead

On Wednesday, Finance Minister Nhlanhla Nene’s MediumTerm Budget Policy Statement will be published.

According to a report earlier this month in Mining Weekly, the International Monetary Fund has lowered its growth outlook for South Africa for 2015.

Infrastructure bottlenecks in the power sector, reforms to education, labour and product markets and better service delivery were some of the blockages the IMF named to growth.
