Civic association call

-

Residents, ratepayers, churches, sport clubs, schools and businesses, particularly in Wards 3 and 4, are invited to an open meeting to discuss the formation of an independent and nonpolitical civic and ratepayers association.

The idea of forming an independent civic organisation stems from the current state of neglect in communities, particularly in higher and lower Albany Road, Scotch Farm, Ghost Town, Vergenoeg, Sun City, Hooggenoeg and Mary Waters Hights.

The need for a representative organisation has been identified by a group of concerned residents and ratepayers.

At this meeting, residents and ratepayers will be afforded an opportunity to discuss the state of service delivery in the neglected communities.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday, 21 October 2015 from 6.30pm till 8pm at the Crown Centre, Albany Road.
