Deda Dedanizizwe, explores the journey of one multifaceted, multifa multifarious being immersed in life’s exhilarating highs and de depressing lows, an autobiographical choreographic portrait of self - discovery and expression through diverse movement, iconography, music and poetry. A contemporary-hip hop performance for the Rhodes Drama Department Masters Programme.
Finding Upright, choreographed by Maipelo Gabang: Gabang is a Masters Drama student.
Her piece, Finding Upright, consists of an all-black, female cast. The piece is inspired by literature written by Melissa Harris Perry.
