Archers on EC target

Yashin Naidoo, AntonPierre Swart and Erin Bradley, members of the Rhodes University Archery Club, were awarded their Eastern Cape Provincial Colours last weekend.

The ceremony coincided with the Eastern Cape Target Championships held in Grahamstown this weekend.

The Eastern Cape Target Championships were held at Rhodes Archery Club on Saturday and Sunday. Arch- ers from all over the Eastern Cape took part in the tournament.

On Saturday archers faced extremely hot and windy conditions and on Sunday cold, windy and rainy conditions.

Archers from Rhodes Archery Club dominated nearly all the divisions with James Mc Alpine, Ettione Ferreira, Derryn Nel, AP Swart, Yashin Naidoo, Robert Barendilla and Erin Bradley receiving gold medals and Lance Ho silver.
