State of the town a shock for former resident

I was born and bred in Grahamstown. I often visit my family and friends here. It was shocking to see how this once beautiful city has deteriorated. The filth in the centre of town is unbelievable. Littering seems to be acceptable. Illegal dumping is the order of the day. Motorists have to drive zigzag to avoid numerous potholes. Animals roam the streets, causing a danger to motorists.

I love Grahamstown but it really saddens me to see the appalling state of the city. Hopefully the City Council will do something to restore the city to its former glory.
