The good man, whose thesis looks at how the local language has been kept from dying in a small diasporic community in Mbembesi, Zimbabwe, has been lionised all over, including BBC's Focus in Africa programme. Not to be outdone, 23-year old Musawenkhosi Sourambe became the youngest person to receive a PhD (in Industrial Psychology) at North West. And they said scholarship is dead!
