SINDI SPEAKS

-

Hi everyone! I’m very happy to welcome you all back in another Thetha Uvakale a.k.a Speak and be Heard edition. You must have noticed that we haven’t been producing anything in the last two weeks as we were in break, but happy to let you know that WE ARE NOW BACK with all the new stories that have been written by our young leaders(), in short we’ve missed you all and hopefully you also have missed us.

Let me first say congratulations to all those who have graduated this past week, you all have proven to us that the word “impossible” says I'm “possible” itself and hard work really does have rewards.

In our first story we talk about Sibulele Moyakhe who is very passionate about cars and has found out what he’d like to do in future with his abilities as he has been in debate with it for a long time now. He’s telling us how the “motoring journalist” dream came about. In our second story we meet... Our Makana Star for this week is Mzwandile Nyoka, who transports people around Grahamstown and a very reliable driver who’s always on time.

Read, weep and Enjoy!!! And yes, in a world of apps and cellphones, developing the habit of reading and writing is vital to our youth. Thetha Uvakale! As always we would love to hear from you. Send us your feedback, ideas, Makana Stars and criticism.
