The Albany Sports Club together with the community of Makhanda will be raising funds for the upgrade of The Albany Sports Club.

The flea market, which will take place at the Club on 18 Florence Street in Makhanda, will also feature good food and entertainment for kids.

National Arts Festival: 8-18 July 2021

National Arts Festival (NAF) returns to Makhanda’s stages and streets from 8-18 July 2021. This year the experience will also include virtual shows and the NAF will present shows in SA cities too.

Masicule 2021: 10 & 11 July 2021

The Masicule Concert forms part of the National Arts Festival programme and brings you two days of non-stop choral music performed by Makhanda’s best voices from various communities.

Masicule, which means ‘let’s sing’ in Xhosa, is an annual event about celebrating voices, the joy of singing and what singing means to people.
