Palesa Ramaisa of Dulux shares her best tips on working with dark colours:

“Choosing a dark colour for a bathroom can be tricky: opt for a shade that’s bold and modern without being overbearing,” she says. “Dark colours tend to make a room appear smaller than it is, so take into account how much natural sunlight enters the space. However, darker shades create a bold focal point and a space with character. They also hide stains better, which is beneficial in a high-traffic zone.”
