Any cost-cutting tips?

Use recycled materials where possible and never throw away old items – a fresh coat of paint works miracles! Where did you get your ideas? Most of our inspiration comes from Home but, being in the construction business, Bernard always has plenty of good ideas.

Any other tips? Combine what you like with what your partner likes so that you have a space that works for both of you. What do you enjoy most about your new kitchen? I love that it’s so big and sociable – it really is the heart of our home.

What’s next? A nursery – or, rather, a bedroom fit for a little princess! >>
