Murray Commons of Durban writes I bought an old duplex in the heart of Durban and I’ve been renovating it slowly. It was a rental property for many years and was so neglected that the owners didn’t receive a single offer during the many months it was on the market. Despite my budget constraints, I’ve managed to revamp the guest toilet, lounge/dining room and garden. But it’s still very much a work in progress, with lots to be done.
